Notice: Road Closure
The road signs have been up for a week already but we now have more details on the road closure of 1st Avenue SW that a majority of our school traffic utilizes daily. The closure will start April 22 and extend all the way until June 18th. We have gotten semi-used to construction around the school but please make sure you account for the changing road conditions, detours, and reduced speed limits within construction zones. Leave a few minutes earlier to avoid rushing through these areas and risking worker safety and possible speed infractions.
Optionally, school traffic can utilize the route east of the lower traffic circle right below the school and route through Winsport. The speed limit in the Winsport complex is 30km/h so be aware of that if taking this route.
