ELEMENTARY REPORT CARDS: Tuesday, March 18, Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home with your students.
STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES (previously Parent-Teacher Interviews) are scheduled for WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19, 2014. These Conferences will be for Elementary and Secondary (Grades K – 12). The purpose of the Student-Led Conferences is to allow your child to tell the story of their own success and to show what they are learning! Students will have opportunity to present their portfolio, containing samples of related work, while allowing for dialogue between Student, Parent and Teacher during a 15 minute appointment time. Please come to this conference prepared to listen, acknowledge your child’s effort and growth, and ask questions of your child and teacher. CWAA CONSTITUENCY MEETING: Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Come and see the great things God is doing at your school. ….everyone is welcome to attend!
ABSENCE PROCEDURES: This is a reminder that if your child is going to be absent from school, parents are asked to contact the office with absence information (and not just homeroom teacher). Our Receptionists enter attendance information for all relevant teachers to access. (The homeroom teacher does not have access to other teacher’s class attendance.) Thank you for your help in this matter!
FOOD BANK FRIDAY – CASUAL DRESS DAY: Friday, March 21, let’s see how much food we can collect for local charity. Bring your non-perishable food items to the front office table. Thanks for participating!

RE-REGISTRATION FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2014-2015: Will begin when students return from Spring Break. Registration Packages will be sent home at that time.
GRADE 9 COOKIE SALE FUNDRAISER: Elementary: Tuesdays at lunchtime. Junior and Senior High: Tuesday and Thursday during their lunchtime. The prices are $.25 to $1.00. All proceeds will go towards the Grade 9 ‘End of Year Celebration’.
MUSIC DEPARTMENT: continues to fundraise for their upcoming trip to Los Angeles in May:
1. Bottle Drive – Students will be going door to door in their community in March to collect recyclables. Parents, community members, church members and staff, please consider sending your recyclable bottles to the school to help raise money for our students to attend this trip.
2. Cookie Dough – We have about 17 tubs of assorted varieties available at the school. Each tub makes approx. 5 dozen cookies and costs $15.
