OPEN HOUSE SUCCESS – We want to share the great news that we had a successful Open House last week! Thank you to all families who brought their friends and families to our event! You made a difference! In total we had 69 attendees and we gave out 17 applications (12 Kindergarten and 5 families who requested applications for various grades). We praise God for his leading at our school and we look forward to seeing who He leads to CWAA in September!

Bookworm Jr. Orders

Due to some changes to the order form and website, the Bookworm Jr. orders were delayed again this month.  However, they will be sent home with your child today.  If you would like to place an order please return your order with payment to the school office by 3:30 on Thursday January 23.  Don’t forget to go to for the full catalog, including lots of sales items!  This Christian book club is a fundraiser for our school library and every order counts – thank you for your support!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here from February 19 – 24, 2014.  I will need parent volunteers to help prepare decorations, set up/take down and run the book fair. The book fair has been a successful fundraiser for our school library over the past few years, last year we raised over $1700! That success would be impossible without our volunteers.  If you are interested in helping please email Katie Crews and let me know how/when you would like to help. Thank you!

Chaplain’s Message

“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.” (Romans 5:6–10 NLT).

Do you know the Son? If not, why not make the choice to get to know Him today!
