Chaplain’s Message

Our spiritual theme this school year at CWAA is “Today Is The Day!” Today is the day to choose to follow God: “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15 ESV).

It is a joy for me to acknowledge CWAA students who have been baptized as a public confession of their choice to follow God. In 2013, the following students have been baptized by various Calgary area pastors:

  • Shirley (grade 3)
  • Yahaira (grade 3)
  • Alexander (grade 4)
  • Sasha (grade 4)
  • Alicia (grade 4)
  • Angelina (grade 4)
  • Alysia (grade 5)
  • Samantha (grade 6)
  • Isabel (grade 8)
  • Jenny (grade 8)
  • Gabi (grade 9)
  • Neil (grade 11)
  • Jonathan (grade 11)

If you know of any CWAA students who were baptized in 2013 who are not on this list, please let me know ( As we acknowledge each of these students’ public commitments to follow Jesus, may each of us take a moment to renew our commitment to follow Christ as well.
