CWAA Breeze Newsletter May 19 -22

CWAA BUS FAMILIES: Southland Bus Company is in their preliminary route planning for next school year and is now requesting family names and addresses that will require bus service. If you have not yet registered for the 2015-16 school year and will require bus service please submit your registration package as soon as possible. At this time we would like to send a reminder out to all families using bus service for this current year of our bus protocol contract with you that states as follows:

  • All times on Bus Routes are scheduled leave times.  Students are required to be at their stop 5 minutes prior to the time indicated.
  • Students that are late to the bus will be left behind.
  • In the event that a parent is late at their assigned afternoon bus stop and they cannot be contacted, secondary students will be dropped off at their assigned bus stop and elementary students will be taken to the nearest Police Station.

Thank you for your continued adherence to these expectations!

SEEK AND SERVE MINISTRY will be held on Sabbath, May 23rd at 10 am. This will be the final meeting for this school year.

Chaplain’s Message:

Can you think of any times in your life when you were made aware of God’s power and control? Maybe a time when you were protected from certain death, or a time when God brought the right person into your life, or a time when you received knowledge from God to help you make the right choice? In chapter 2 of the biblical book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream. With God’s help, Daniel was able to tell the king what the dream was about and what it meant. In essence, God was giving a glimpse into the future. Looking back on history, it is reassuring to see that God knew the future before it happened! If God has been in control in the past, can we trust that He is still in control now and will be in the future? Are we willing to rely on His power in our personal lives?

Why not take some time today to read Daniel 2?
