CWAA Breeze Newsletter for June 20 – 24, 2016

Principal’s Message:

It’s not over yet is it?

This year has passed by at an incredibly fast and furious pace! I can hardly conceive that it’s nearing the end of June. I look back over the year and marvel at all that has occurred – and quickly assess the major milestone we achieved as teachers and parents. Together we educated 197 students for 185 days, traveled to numerous destinations, joined hands with our churches and many communities to reach souls for Jesus, graduated our treasured groups of students, baptized precious students. There are too many high points to even count.

As a staff we have cherished the opportunity to love, pray with, laugh with, sing with, play with, learn with, and disciple your children. We thank you for the opportunity to establish relationships with your children for the purpose of educating them. Through this year it has been our consistent and fervent prayer that through our interactions with your children, they will have seen Jesus in us and be drawn closer to Him. This is our most important aim and goal and we pray this will have been achieved.

As we part for the summer, I would like to say, on behalf of the Staff and School Board of CWAA, thank you for giving us the opportunity to educate and love your children. For those families whose children will be relocating to different cities and schools, we wish you God”s richest blessings and guidance! And for those families whose children will be returning, we cherish the opportunity to join with you in 2016-2017 for another year of building God’s kingdom. May it be each of our prayer that we keep the bond of peace between us. “Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” Colossians 3:15-17

Have a fantastic summer!

Chaplain’s Message:

The Spiritual theme here at Chinook Winds this school year has been “Be Still.” Psalm 46:10 says, ““Be still, and know that I am God!” (NLT). In what ways have you taken time to be still this school year? What are some ways that you will plan to be still during the summer to spend time getting to know God better? Let each of us make it a priority to grow in our relationship with Jesus this summer!

May each of you have a blessed and safe summer!
