Have you ever underestimated what was ahead? Have you ever been surprised by beauty in unexpected places?
The Bible says that God is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us!” (Ephesians 3:20) Paul reminds us that God has the capability, the power, and the authority to do whatever we need Him to do in our lives. He goes beyond and surpasses that which is expected. And He does it in an abundant way because He loves us! He lavishes on us a rich supply of blessings each and every day. And He has the power to be present in our circumstances and go beyond what is expected. God’s resources are immeasurable, rich and unlimited and it is His pleasure to bless us abundantly, beyond what we can hope or imagine! Ellen White says, “Higher than the highest human thought can reach is God’s ideal for His children!” (Education p. 18)
CWAA CHARACTER VALUE FOR APRIL: During the month of April we are focusing on the character of God – HUMILITY. The Bible says, “Be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3) So, how do we show humility? “A Christian reveals true humility by showing the gentleness of Christ, by being always ready to help others, by speaking kind words and performing unselfish acts, which elevate and ennoble the most sacred message that has come to our world.” (Ellen White, Life Sketches, p. 86)

Next week is our student-led Week In Spiritual Emphasis. Please pray for the students who will be involved in speaking and leading. May our prayer for our students be like Paul’s prayer for the Christians in Ephesus:
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” (Ephesians 3:14-19 NLT).
