The Chinook Winds Adventist Academy Student-Led Week of Prayer took place at CWAA last week (November 25 to 29). It was great to see a number of our secondary students involved in leading and helping with the week of prayer. Students helped with preaching, drama, leading music, leading prayer activities, and running the audio/visual systems. The theme for the week was Testify! Throughout the week, the focus was on the story of the woman at the well who received hope from Jesus, experienced a saving relationship with Him, and shared the good news about Him with others. On Friday, an appeal was made for students to commit to share Jesus with others. In addition, students who wanted to make a decision to follow Jesus or to be baptized were invited to come forward. A number of students indicated a desire to follow Jesus or to be baptized! Please keep the students who turned in papers with their names on them in your prayers as Pastor Brent meets with them over the next couple weeks. Pray that they will stand strong in their decisions to follow Jesus and to be baptized.
