Thank you to everyone who has already raised money for this goal. We have two more days before the run so we would like to encourage you to help your children fundraise for this important cause. Your child should have received a fundraising form. More forms are available on the Campus Ministries bulletin board outside of Pastor Wilson’s office. To make an online donation go here. Thank you for helping us demonstrate the character quality of kindness as we seek to help impact the lives of those who are affected by cancer! CASUAL DRESS DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS.

SEEK AND SERVE MINISTRY: This is the second year for this ministry at CWAA, involving community outreach and participation in our local Adventist Churches. We minister to those living in nursing homes as well as serving those within our school community and being available to assist when a need arises. The third Sabbath of each month has been designated for this. The first scheduled Seek and Serve Sabbath is October 16. Grades 7 – 12 students who are interested and truly committed to serving their Lord through this ministry will meet at the school at 10 am for praise, worship and prayer. Following our worship time, we have potluck lunch and then devote the afternoon to service. Thank you for your support and prayers. “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring it’s own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6:31-34 NLT)
Our focus this school year is “Be Still” and getting to know God better. It is important to keep in mind that as we seek God’s kingdom, we don’t have to needlessly worry about the details of life. God will supply our needs according to His will. And it is great to know that God is greater than the economy, our health, our lack of money, our fears. Let us focus on seeking God’s Kingdom – on being still and getting to know Him better!
