Chaplain’s Message:

“How can a young person stay on the path of purity?

By living according to your word.

I seek you with all my heart;

do not let me stray from your commands.

I have hidden your word in my heart

that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:9-11 NIV).

If we want to truly live for God, we need to be spending time with God’s word! This can be time spent reading and meditating on passages from the Bible. This can also be memorizing Bible verses. As we spend time with God through His word and prayer, we can echo the prayer of the psalmist, “do not let me stray from your commands” (Psalm 119:10b NIV). It is not on our own that we honour God. It is through His transforming work in our life – as we open our life to His word and power!
