Adult books and food items will be available in the Bookmobile. Bookmobile open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The ABC has generously committed 10% of foyer sales donated back to CWAA, as well as a donation of vegetarian burgers!  Veggie Burgers start selling at 6 pm, Constituency Meeting at 7 p.m. All parents, pastors, board members, church members and staff are invited to come out and enjoy a time of fellowship as we share CWAA’s future plans!

The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong commitment to preparing children and youth for Jesus’ 2nd coming. Preference given to candidates with French as a Second Language. KITCHEN DEVELOPMENT AT CWAA: I wanted to share some exciting news with you! Recently our school received a generous donation of $10,000, which the Board decided to designate towards developing a kitchen! This kitchen will be important to provide a Foods Options to our students as well as provide kitchen space to church rental groups. Chris Babbitt (Board Chairman) has agreed to take on the project management role of designing & building the kitchen (to be completed over the summer holidays). Because we anticipate the total cost of designing, building and purchasing kitchen appliances will exceed the allocated donation, we are seeking to fundraise to help with this project! Our first fundraiser will take place on the evening of Thursday, March 22 at the Constituency Meeting. On this day, the Adventist Book Centre (ABC) Bookmobile will be set up at CWAA and have generously donated burgers for our event! If you are interested in helping sell burgers for this event, please contact Lara Melashenko. We thank God for continuing to provide for our needs, and even many of our ‘wants’!

GRADE 9 FUNDRAISER: They will be selling “Sweet Treats”, (baked goods … cookies, cupcakes, donuts, etc.) and (frozen treats … popsicles, freezies, icecream, etc.) on Tuesdays to Elementary students at lunchtime and to the Secondary students on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   Prices are based on items available and are usually priced between $0.50 and $1.00.  Thank you for your support as they raise funds for their Year-end Celebration!

PRAYING PARENTS: This group meets every Thursday morning at 8:45 a.m. in the lobby. Join in for a time of praise and prayer. All are welcome!

Chaplain’s Message:

My second daughter was born this past Tuesday. Brielle is a beautiful little baby who spends most of her time eating, sleeping and making dirty diapers. At this newborn stage, a baby seems so helpless without care from others.

It is interesting that Jesus said that people need to become like little children in order to get into the heavenly kingdom. Could that include realizing our own helplessness without Him?

“About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

“Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

(Matthew 18:1-3 NLT)
