Chaplain’s Message:

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display His craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make Him known.”
(Psalm 19:1-2 NLT)

This past weekend, I was on a camping trip with 5 students from my Outdoor Education option class, along with several other people. On Sabbath morning, I read a bit from Psalm 19 to the students and asked them to watch for something out in nature on our hike that day that reminded them of God. That evening, as we were gathered around the campfire, I gave them the opportunity to share what they had come up with. It was great to hear the variety of illustrations from nature that could remind us of different aspects of God and His character!

Let me encourage you to take a bit of time this week to “Be Still” and to observe God’s creation and to come up with some illustration from nature that reminds you of Who God is!
