Chaplain’s Message

The Israelites were about to cross over to the promised land. Many of them probably had some apprehension about the endeavour, knowing that they would be facing enemies in Canaan. But shortly before his death, Moses gave them some words of encouragement: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV).

From time to time, we all feel apprehension about challenges that we face. At those times, may we remember the words of encouragement that Moses gave to his people several thousand years ago. May we remember that God is there with us, no matter the challenge!
