Principal’s Message:

Awesome Elementary Week of a Prayer!

“Train up a child in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old he/she will not depart from it!” Proverbs 22:6

This last week we had the privilege of having Pr. Sandra Deer and husband, Pr. Ted at our school to lead our students into a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ. (Pr. Sandra is the Alberta Conference of SDA Women’s Ministry Leader, Change School of Evangelism Leader, Kids in Discipleship Leader.) During our Week of Prayer, Pr. Sandra and Pr. Ted’s messages focused on the following: Jesus is our best friend, the words we speak to each other matter, and Gods Word matters. Each message was filled with inspiring stories of God answering prayers, God transforming the lives of people, powerful Bible verses, and beautiful stories in nature of God’s hand of protection and provision.

At the end of the week Pr. Sandra provided the students with an opportunity to make a decision to accept Jesus as their best friend and either study the Bible to know Jesus better or follow Jesus through  baptism.

Praise God, 17 of our students requested Bible studies to get to know Jesus better and 60 students expressed a desire to follow Jesus through baptism!! Though many of our students who requested baptism are still very young, yet we know that Jesus calls even the young to come to Him. Thus, each decision is valued and precious in the sight of God! And truly it is the best decision our children will ever make – to follow Jesus! Thank you for joining us in praying as we put into place Biblical training and processes to help our children continue in their growth journey with Jesus Christ! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
